All You Need To Know About Chalet Roux
Accommodation
Situated on the slopes immediately above the ancient village of Grimentz this is a beautiful chalet with exceptional views across the valley to the summit of the Weisshorn - one of Switzerland's highest mountains at over 4500m.
The first floor is devoted to a spacious living area with open plan kitchen and a dining table that will comfortably seat 12 people, and more at a pinch! The sitting area is double height, open to the rafters and with a cosy wood-burning stove.
Overlooking this is a large mezzanine level accessed by ladder, with two single mattresses.
Downstairs, Chalet Roux has two identical double bedrooms, a twin room with 'Swedish' bunks, and a small room with bunk beds. Ideal for up to 10 people, there is also a double sofa-bed in the living area which means you can sleep 12 people in total. There are two WCs: one in a bathroom with tub and shower, another separate WC, and a small shower room.
Facilities
Chalet Roux is our home when we are on holiday so we have taken care to make sure it has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We like cooking and baking so the kitchen has plenty of utensils and equipment as well as crockery and glassware for a houseful of people.
The chalet has:
- Smart TV with channels in most languages including all the main UK TV channels.
- Free WiFi with high speed broadband.
- Bose speakers with bluetooth.
- Washing Machine
- Wood-burning stove with a plentiful supply of logs.
- Parking for two vehicles.
